Judy is scheduled to return home this next Friday. Her recovery is going well. Still some physical therapy to schedule–and that’s not easy.

Hi friends,
>
>> I am to be back in Santa Fe on Friday!  My
>> PT options in Santa Fe, however are very slim.  I heard rumors that March was break your femur month and  everyone will need PT after initial rehab at a hospital.  Luckily I have a gym at El Castillo.  But I should have made reservations  for PT last January for April,  just in case ( and you can always cancel)! And I should have a hospital suitcase packed and always ready to use!
>> But all is well, I fit in some pants I was not sure of.  I thought my leg was too swollen, but it turns out my leg fit, and the real problem is my butt and belly.  A little fat goes a long way. Sigh!
>> I got to walk outside yesterday and got in and out of a 🚘.  I actually have been doing it the right way even as a healthy person!  They worked me hard yesterday, going up and down stairs, riding a machine that is also available in my gym at home.  I had to maneuver myself all over the gym trying to find colored cones.  I found the cones, but almost ran down a couple of people.  One of the aids that I dearly adore whispered in my ear last night that if I ate quickly and came back to my room, she would let me shower!  That is manna from heaven.  Dinner did not take too long and I was back!  I showered and it was heavenly.
