Our SOB Board (Lynn Pickard, Rich Irell, Ian Norrish, Bob Bogart, Steve Pilcher, Michael Knarr, Lore Thorpe, Judy Costlow) met Wednesday, May 28th to work out whether Ride Leaders would need to keep names of riders for each of their rides. The names would be for insurance purposes, in case accidents may happen. After a long discussion of pros and cons for keeping such records, a consensus was reached. We decided to not burden the Ride Leaders with having to keep a list of their riders.
But, in the event of an accident, we would require pictures to be taken of the incident, names of all participants recorded and a written narrative or report sent to any board member.”
