Dear Friends, Every year, the SOBs have taken part in the fund raiser for The Food Depot.  This year it is more important than ever as federal funds are
being cut or downsized.  In NM many of our people are food insecure, especially children.  The Food Depot  supplies much of Northern NM families with
food and they need it now more than ever.  I hope you will continue your donations to this amazing  organization.  When you do, please let the Food Depot
know you are an SOB.  Thank you for making our families in NM healthier.

Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Neighbor to Neighbor the largest fundraiser for The Food Depot began on June 2.  The Food Depot is Northern New Mexico’s only food bank.  Together we can and will make a big difference and insure our neighbors continue to get the nutritious food they need and deserve.    Please check out thefooddepot.org/n2n to learn more and donate.
All donations from the 14th annual fund drive benefit The Food Depot and the 42,000 food insecure people in Northern NM.  In 2024, this community wide fundraiser raised over $482,000 to provide nutritious food to struggling families and seniors across the 9 county service area of TFD.  Three of these counties are food deserts with no grocery stores.  Working with over 80 non profit partners TFD delivers nutritious food.  Every distribution is over 50% fruits & vegetables, and at least 20% is protein.  It’s what we all need to be healthy and thrive.   This year, with your help,  we hope to raise $500,000, the equivalent of 2 million meals.
We are very excited to receive an initial match of $25,000 from the Occam Foundation to kick off Neighbor to Neighbor!  They have been giving to N2N for the last 3 years and are thrilled to do it again.  This means that instead of being able to provide 4 meals for a $1…….your donation will now provide 8 meals for every $1 donated!
On Thursday evening, June 26you are invited to a special Night at the Warehouse to kick off Neighbor to Neighbor from 5:30 to 7:30.  Please bring your friends and neighbors to get behind the scenes and see it for yourself.  Refreshments will be served.  Please come and learn more about what your efforts will mean…..RSVP at http://pp.events/n2n-2025.
Andrew Young, former Mayor of Atlanta and Ambassador to the United Nations said “Feed the Hungry.  Give everyone an equal chance to eat and be the best they can be.”  The ball is in our court. We can do this.
                           Thank you very much!
Sincerely, Your N2N Volunteer Team – Mary Ferguson, Jane Freeman, Susan Quintana, Gail Rachor, and Gracie Schild
