The family of Steve Gitomor attended the SOB Memorial Ride July 24, 2025 as an expression of Steve’s long membership and friendships with the riders of Santa Fe Seniors on Bikes. The Memorial was held at Windy Bridge on the Pecos River.
Steve Gitomor, Treasurer of the Santa Fe Seniors on Bikes for many years, a retired plasma physicist, and family man par excellence, died this past April. An editor of two scientific journals, Steve had a long career at the Los Alamos National Laboratory. A world traveler, Steve and his family enjoyed many years in their Santa Fe home. And, as the family reported at the Memorial Ride on the Pecos River, participation in the SOBs and conversing with members on the many rides was so very important to Steve.
