We’re planning an exploratory recon of the Bosque trails from Bernalillo to Albuquerque Alameda Open Space. Ride start/finish will be at Bosque Brewing in Bernalillo on Saturday, January 7 at 10:30AM.

Total ride distance will be about 25 miles. Most of the route will be over flat, smooth single track along the Rio Grande and there should be lots of waterfowl to see along the way. I’ve ridden the lower half of the trails and it should be no problem for a gravel bike. I’m taking my hardtail mountain bike because that’s what I use as a gravel bike. Of particular interest for many will be the fine selection of brews/food at the Bosque Brewing Mothership after the ride.
