Older members of SOB will remember Karen Adelfang-one of the founding members. Karen died in late October. She had been in ill health for some time and was living with her son Jack in Denver at the time of her death. Karen rode on most of the fall ride trips here in New Mexico and Colorado. Karen also hiked, snowshoed, and cross country skied, sometimes skied on trails to spend a weekend in a yurt. And, of course, also made some bicycling rides in Europe. Her husband, Luigi, died about 10 years ago.
