The Ride Leader Training class was held on June 19th. A special thanks to Monica for the training in First Aid and Lynn for the update on the Legal Issues. Edwin organized this class and taught a section on Group Management.
The Club Picture will be taken on June 29 (next Thursday). We ask that the Elite Eight group be at Caja del Rio Recreation Complex parking area by 8:00 for the first take. The entire SOB group picture will be taken at 8:15 by Alan K. Please wear the SOB jersey for the picture. Edwin will have a couple extra jerseys if you need to borrow one for the picture. Anyone that has an extra jersey that you are willing to loan that would really help out.
Speaking of jerseys, the new jersey order is in process. Bob B has been bringing the fit kits to the rides for people to try on. I strongly recommend that you check out the sizing as the consensus is the fit is tight and you need to be sure before you order. To order use the SOB web site’s link to the SOB Team Store created by Ian N. I found the sight user friendly and the Pay Pal account created by Steve G easy to use.
The Mid Season Luncheon is on July 20th. It will be held at Rancho de Chimayo at the end of the scheduled rides about 11:30. Lore T is collecting the cost of $20.00 at the sign-in table at the Thursday rides. You can also pay at the door on the day of the luncheon but by pre paying it help us get a feel for the number of people that will be attending.
