Greetings trail lovers: As you may know, the City is working to develop a trail starting from the end of Calle Mejia to tie neighborhoods that lie to the north (such as Zocalo and Las Estrellas) into our greater walking and biking system.  This is a key piece of nearly three-mile alignment along the “Cañada Rincon” arroyo stretching from the Santa Fe River Trail all the way up to Tano Rd.  This particular connection was recommended as a “Phase A” improvement in the Metropolitan Bicycle Master Plan and thus qualified for G.O. Bond funding.

The meeting tomorrow evening at the Convention Center, publicized below, is a chance to hear about preliminary planning and design of this trail.  If you are interested in learning more, providing input, or just voicing your support, please consider attending!  Thanks, Tim
