The SOBs are supporting the Santa Fe Century as Community Partners. We are encouraging our members to both volunteer to help during the Century and to ride one or more of the Century Rides.
Information on the Century is contained here. This year the ride(s) is/are on May 21 and May 22. There is a new set of 3 gravel rides on Saturday and the usual set of road rides on Sunday.
You can volunteer to help the Century (details below) as well as do whatever ride(s) you want to do. You do not have to choose one or the other. You can do both. Or mix and match.
Here are the options for road riders:
Thursday May 19: Packet Stuffing at or near venue in the Railyard, location TBD, 10 am-3pm. NOTE: If enough SOB’s volunteer for May 19 we may create an additional local ride for that date so folks will have more time to help.
Friday May 20: Registration 2 pm-7:30pm at venue in the Railyard, location TBD. Registration is open from 4-7, but we would need volunteers to help with set-up and clean-up.
Saturday May 21: Registration 3:30 pm-7:30pm at venue in the Railyard, location TBD. Registration is open from 4-7, but we would need volunteers to help with set-up and clean-up.

As a volunteer who also wants to ride you will get a free registration as well as a volunteer T-shirt or hat and a water bottle.
As a volunteer who is not going to ride or who has already registered the Century will give a donation to the SOBs and you will also get a volunteer T-shirt or hat and a water bottle.
Also the Century would like to recruit one or two people to join their board. These would be people who are passionate about the Century, and have an interest in helping in terms of volunteer coordination, fundraising, or helping with event organization in some manner.
