Steve G is giving a presentation for seniors who want to start or continue off-road cycling and are looking for modern less expensive technology. As Rail Trail (RT) steward this session will cover Santa Fe’s Jewel Crown RT.

Questions regarding pedal assist regular and trike options for seniors are welcome, and if there is interest we may have a second trike focused presentation later. I see more trikes on our class 5 RT corridor as it provides a beautiful opportunity for us to exercise safely outside. There are many new trike versions including pedal assist. The ones I’ve seen are similar to the recumbent tadpole style, double wheels on the front, but traditional rear double wheel trikes continue to be popular.
