Due to changes in approval of vaccines as well as the prevalence of the delta variant, the SOB Board has decided to require that anyone who rides with us be fully vaccinated or follow these requirements if not: (1) wear a mask at all times, including when congregating at the beginning of a ride, when riding, during rest stops when congregated, and when dispersing; and (2) ride behind all other riders at all times, even when abiding by the requirements outlined in number (1). Any SOB member can inquire of the vaccine status of any rider, and any ride leader has the authority to exclude any rider who does not abide by these or any other requirements of the SOBs.
In general, people are considered fully vaccinated: 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine. If you don’t meet these requirements, regardless of your age, you are NOT fully vaccinated.
Riding with the club means that you agree to this policy.
