SOB Info Notes

Here is an example of the best laid plans: the SOB official club photo was taken on September 1. However, the picture was too fuzzy (out of focus) and will need to be retaken. So on Oct. 20 at the Museum Hill starting point we will try again. Sorry to the 75 people that did the first one.
At 9:00 am today there is a group meeting at the San Felipe Casino parking area. A carpool will leave DeVargas Center around 8:00.
The Santa Fe to Santa Fe Tour is leaving today at 10:00. Good luck and have a safe trip to the 15 SOBs that are doing this ride.
As a result the Thursday, Sept 8th ride from DeVargas Center will have a different face at the sign-in table. Thanks to Bill Litzenberg for stepping up.
The End of the Season Award Luncheon this year will be on October 20th at 1:00. Since the group has out grown our last luncheon location we will be going to a different one which is the Pecos Trail Cafe on 2239 Old Pecos Hwy. The cost is $15.00 (tax and tip included).
A special thanks to Jim and Jennifer Kinney who donated some saddles and bike computers for the luncheon raffle. They will be leaving Santa Fe next week. We will miss their leadership, especially on the Tuesday rides. Please join me in wish them well and safe riding into the future.
There is a Traffic Skills 101 class scheduled for September 24 – 25. The class is limited to 12 people and you must pre-register with Gary Schiffmiller at: schiffmiller@earthlink.net.
