For anyone wanting to be a certified SOB Ride Leader the class will be on Monday, June 25 from 12:00 to 5:00. Contact Edwin at ecrosswhite@cybermesa.com or sign up at the regular rides.
A traffic Skill 101 class designed by the League of American Bicyclists will be Thursday, 28 June from 6 to 9 (or so) pm. The on bike session will be Saturday, 30 June from 9 am to 4 (or so) pm, with a lunch break. The class will be partly online, partly classroom, and partly on bike.
This class is for those who know how to ride, but would like to increase their confidence and safety riding in an urban environment, both on street and trail. We will also go over some basic bicycle maintenance (e.g., repairing a flat).
Your bicycle must be in reasonable working order to take this class (e.g., the brakes, shifters, etc. all work). HELMETS WILL BE REQUIRED for the on bike portion of the class (as per our insurance requirements).
