Last Wednesday I was on SB 285 going down Lamy Hill. I was approaching the RR crossing at a pretty good clip when I saw an abrupt lip between 2 of the concrete slabs. Nothing I could do but hope for the best. It turns out the best was a damaged tire and a walk uphill to get cell service and a ride home.
Anyway, be forewarned if you are planning to do that segment.
I did contact the NM DOT District 5 Maintenance Engineer and he said that it will be fixed once they figure out the jurisdictional issues. So not next week.
