Consultant to US Civilian Research & Development Foundation (CRDF Global)
Former Senior Science Advisor to the US Department of State for the Science Centers in Russia & Ukraine

Guest Scientist, Plasma Physics Group (P-24), Los Alamos National Laboratory

Above all a family man, beloved friend to many and pillar of the community.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years Joyce Gitomer, his daughters Michele and Alana and four grandchildren Harley, Portia, Jacob and Mathew
