Ride Schedule
Riding on ANY SOB ride implies consent to our waiver. Click Join SOB link in main menu, fill out the waiver, and submit.
There are rides every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday – weather permitting.
There are 2 ad hoc ride groups, A / energetic and B / relaxed. Start locations and times are indicated below.
Start locations:
- Tuesday start location – DeVargas mall for both groups
- Thursday start location (s) for both groups
- November 2025 599 RR station
- From December 2025 through March 2026
- Genoveva Chavez Community Center (GCCC) – except for the first Thursday of every month.
- December 4 BLM parking lot
- January 1 (ha ha) El Dorado Agora Center
- February 5 Outlet Mall
- March 5 SFCC
- Saturday start location A group – El Camino Real Academy
- Saturday start location B group – DeVargas Mall

Special Note for B rides: If the weather is bad, the ride will be canceled. If the weather looks better for an afternoon ride, it will be organized to start at 1 pm, and riders will be notified by the usual email list. Automatic Ride Cancellations
Rides are automatically cancelled WITH NO FURTHER ANNOUNCEMENT if any of the following conditions exist:
- Start time temperature < 32 deg F or > 100 deg F in the forecast for that day 2 hours before start.
- Rain, Snow, Fog, Icy Roads exist in general Santa Fe area 2 hours before start.
- Sustained Wind >= 20 mph in the forecast for that day 2 hours before start.
“In the forecast for that day 2 hours before start” means that if the weather forecast for the day in question, when viewed 2 hours before the start, indicates that, for example, wind during the ride will be >= 20 mph, then the ride is automatically cancelled with no further update.
